Sao Paulo to Uberlandia

The last few days have been nice.  I stayed 3 days in Sao Paulo at Marconi's house.  I had a good time staying with him.  We went to a party with his girl friend.  It was a Christmas Party with some very rich people.  Its kinda ironic that even though Americans think of Brazilians as poor, and Brazilians think that Americans are poor, but everyone there was richer than the American.  They did a gift exchange.  The one where you draw numbers and the first person opens a present.  Then the 2nd can take that present or open another.  The presents ranged from $50 to $500.  Everyone was really nice.  The host sat next to me at dinner and wanted to talk to me the whole time.  They gave me a little present with some travel stuff.  I went to church on Sunday.  There are 3 american families in the ward I went to.  There is also a member of the 70 and the Brazil area President in the ward.
Sunday I made some chicken for lunch, and Marconi's parents made pasta.  I spent the afternoon with Renan Alves.  He was a mission companion.  Last night I got on a Bus and arrived in Uberlandia this morning.
One thing that is very different that takes time to get used to it hugging and kissing all the girls you meet on the cheek. I'm not complaining, but its a little wierd.
